SLIDELL-The memorial for 22-year-old Errol 'Ro' Scott and 23-year-old Mark Womack grew Friday as friends and family left notes, flowers, teddy bears and candles on the sidewalk near where they were killed.

Savan Fisher, whose stage name is 'Bam the Bully', was the promoter of the event at Shooters Social Club Wednesday night. He says he knew Scott like a little brother, and tried to break up the fight in the street, which he says did not involve Scott.Fisher started this memorial and came back today proud to see it flourish.

He said, 'We're trying to do our best to turn this tragedy into triumph.Trying to bring the community together because what happened out here is none of Olde Towne's fault. It was no one's fault but the person who actually had the gun.'

A few blocks away, Slidell Police identified the person allegedly with the gun, who shot eight people, killing Scott and Womack, as 22-year-old Jamieon Chatman.

Chief Randy Smith said, 'We're asking all members of St. Tammany Parish, all our communities to come together and help us get this individual off the street.'

The suspect has been in trouble with police in the past.Chatman's been convicted for drug-related crimes, weapons charges and fleeing from police, all misdemeanors.Just last month he was arrested for aggravated battery, a felony, and another drug charge.

'He is armed, he is dangerous, considered dangerous and we need to clear this case up and bring some closure to the families,' said Smith.

Meanwhile, those loved ones are holding onto the support pouring out from the community.

Four of the other victims are still recovering in area hospitals.

Chatman is facing two counts of second degree murder and six counts of attempted second degree murder.Police say there could be other arrests tied to this case.

If you have any information about Chatman's whereabouts, call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. The reward for information has increased from $5,000 to $7,500.
