4 ounces fresh apple juice

4 ounces fresh pear juice

2 ounces fresh orange juiec

1/2 inch piece fresh ginger

1/2 stick cinnamon

1 each star anise

2 each cloves

2 tablespoons sugar

2 ounces soda water or sparkling water

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.

Simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Remove from the heat and strain.

Cool this juice mixture.

Pour 4 ounces of the juice mixture over crushed ice.

Top with 2 ounces of soda water.

Garnish with an organge twist.
