NEWORLEANS-- Police arrested three men for allegedly sticking up a man outside a New Orleans East bar and carjacking his vehicle, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, Tryone Johnson, 18, Raymond Lee, 27, Keith Marrow, 22, held up the victim outside a bar in the 6600 block of Morrison Road and then taking the victim's vehicle, according to NOPD.
'About an hour later, ON-Star was able to track the car's location in Algiers. Fourth District units quickly caught up with the vehicle, and tried to pull the driver over. He refused, and led officers on a brief chase, which ended when the stolen car's driver hit a tree as well as a parked vehicle near the intersection of Woodland Highway and Brunswick Court,' said a statement from the NOPD.
The three men jumped from the wrecked car and ran. One suspect was caught by officers on the scene, and police set up a perimeter, using the NOPD's Gang Unit and K-9 assistance, according to police. The other two men were caught by police inside the perimeter.
Johnson, Lee and Marrow were booked with relative to carjacking, relative to use of a firearm in a robbery and relative to possession of stolen things, according to NOPD.
