LaPlace, LA - St. John deputies are searching for clues in the shooting deaths of two men over the weekend.

Sheriff Mike Tregre said deputies responded to a call around 11:45 Friday night and found 22-year-old Travalen Narcisse inside of a car, dead of multiple gunshot wounds in the area of Carmichael Court.

Tregre said no one else was injured and no other information is available.

Also, on Sunday around 7:30 pm, deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the 1600 block of Jefferson Street in LaPlace. Once on the scene, they found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the thigh. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. A second man, identified as 25-year-old Cornell Tuco, was breathing but unresponsive. Deputies said he was rushed to River Parish Hospital where he died of his injuries.
