A Canadian astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfield, may have made the first music video from space.

He sang a remixed version of David Bowie's classic 'Space Oddity' on the space station.

Throughout his five and a half months in space, Hadfield made it a personal mission to give people a behind-the-scenes look at life in orbit through postings and photographs on Twitter and other social media sites.

For his finale, he created a video with his version of the Bowie song.

The video was uploaded to Hadfield's YouTube page on Sunday and has become an online hit.
