NEW ORLEANS -- ESPN is reporting that Grambling State University will forfeit their football game against Jackson State University on Saturday.

The Grambling football program is on its third head coach in five weeks, after interim head coach George Ragsdale, who replaced original head coach Doug Williams, was fired Thursday.

Players reportedly boycotted practice Wednesday and refused to play the game against Jackson State.

The Clarion Ledger had reported earlier Friday that the school didn't plan to cancel the game.
