NEWORLEANS-- Police have identified one suspect and are searching for him and two other unidentified men in connection with the murder of a man shot inside his Algiers home Monday.

Bobby James, 20, and two other unidentified men are wanted for the fatal shooting of a man in the 6400 block of Brunswick Court, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Around 9:45 p.m., the victim was forced inside his home by three armed men. The men demanded cash, but were startled when another family member came home, according to police. The men opened fire and hit the victim multiple times. The victim collapsed on the driveway and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Homicide Detective Barret Morton identified James as one of the suspects and secured an arrest warrant for second degree Murder. Morton is working to the identity of the two other suspects involved, according to police.
