NEWORLEANS -- A 15-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with a quintuple shooting on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Central City, and police are looking for three or four other suspects in connection, according to Superintendent Ronal Serpas.

The 15-year-old was not identified by Serpas. Serpas said little is being released about suspect because he is a juvenile, although more information will released after a probable-cause hearing Monday.

The juvenile was charged with five counts of aggravated battery, according to Serpas.

On Jan. 21, five teenagers were injured after a shooting broke out near the intersection of Martin LutherKing Jr. Boulevard and LaSalle Street in front of grocery store, shortly after a parade honoring Dr. King had passed through the area.

Around 1 p.m., a late model, white, two-door sedan drove past the store, and a gunman opened fire on a group teenagers standing on the corner in front of the store, accoridng to police. Authorities are looking for three or four suspects who may have been in the vehicle.
