Devery Henderson finally has a new home.

And it's not in the state of Louisiana.

The Washington Redskins announced Wednesday they had signed Henderson, who has called Louisiana home for his entire life.

The Saints didn't re-sign the receiver, allowing him to play for only his second professional team. New Orleans drafted him out of LSU in 2004.

He played 124 games for New Orleans, finishing his nine years with the Saints compiling 4,377 yards and 20 touchdowns. He has a career average of 17.9 yards per catch.
