Job Description: This position will be directly responsible for managing all areas of the Business/Finance Department for WWL-TV. This includes: credit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensures adequacy of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for monthly forecasting, annual and strategic plans and analysis of financial statements. Protects assets of WWL-TV and handles all financial operations.
Qualifications:The successful applicant will have a college degree in accounting or related field; CPA/MBA preferred. A minimum 5-8 years management experience as a Controller; previous supervisory/leadership experience. Extensive Microsoft Excel and other accounting software/tools experience is required.
