NEW ORLEANS A 66-year-old Raceland man was sentenced Thursday to 12 and a half years in prison after law enforcement officials say they found more than 1,000 images and nearly 500 videos of child pornography on his computer.

Ronald Breaux was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown.

According to court documents, Breaux used 'peer-to-peer' file sharing programs to search for, download and share the images and videos of children some as young as 18 months old engaged in sexual activity.

The documents said Breaux had cataloged the pictures and placed them in folders on his computer with names like 'young,' 'crime,' and 'incest.'
