NEW ORLEANS Eyewitness Sports' Juan Kincaid has learned that retired wide receiver Randy Moss was at the team's Metairie facility Saturday, according to several sources.

The news comes after Marques Colston broke his collar bone in the team's opener against the Green Bay Packers.

Greg Bensel, the Saints vice president of media relations, said he knew nothing of Moss' visit. Earlier, Mickey Loomis, the general manager, told ESPN.com's Adam Shefter that the report was 'made up' and that there was 'zero' to it.

Moss recently retired after 13 seasons in the NFL. The six-time All-Pro has 153 touchdowns, second only to Hall-of-Fame receiver Jerry Rice.

The team would appear to be in the market for a receiver with Colston expected to be out for four weeks with his injury and Lance Moore missing the opener with a groin injury.
