BOGALUSA, La. - A couple accused of a Dec. 6 bank robbery in Hancock County was arrested Thursday morning in Bogalusa, according to the city's police chief.

The couple, 42-year-old Jessie Landry and 33-year-old Aleisha Landry, were arrested on several charges, including possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and being a fugitive from Hancock County.

Around 12:30 p.m., Diamondhead Police Department officers were called the Keesler Federal Credit Union. By the time police arrived on the scene, the suspects had fled in a dark gray Ford Focus later discovered to be stolen from Tennessee.

A source identified the pair after seeing pictures of the robbers on television, according to poilice.

According to Bogalusa Police,Hancock County officials contacted them about the wanted bank robbery suspects and requested assistance. Around 6 a.m., Bogalusa Police and Washington Parish Sheriff's Office went to a residence in Bogalusa and arrested the couple.
