The WWL-TV family is saying goodbye to one of its own today. After 25 years at Channel 4, photographer Bob Weaver is retiring.
Weaver's assignments have taken him to Egypt, the Vatican and many other parts of the world.
He's worked all over his hometown, covering a wide range of stories, and in the process helping WWL-TV maintain its reputation as a local news leader.
Bob Weaver's photographer's eye and gift for lighting added that extra touch to so many of WWL-TV's special stories, events and programs.
And no one will ever forget his countless early morning live shots and Mardi Gras live shots with the Eyewitness Morning News crew, and the beautiful photographs he took each year of the crew dressed in their Mardi Gras Day costumes.
While his WWL-TV family is sorry to see Bob Weaver go, well wishes and nothing but the best are expected for him in the next chapter of his life.
