NEW ORLEANS, La. -- In medical news, a new study shows the stress from a major disaster, such as Hurricane Katrina, can be damaging to people's health, even years after the initial disaster.

The findings come from a new study conducted by researchers Tulane University.

Dr. Anand Irimpen, one of the Tulane researchers involved in the study, joins the Eyewitness News at Noon with more on the new findings.
