NEWORLEANS-- FBIagents and New Orleans police officers arrested one man and identified a second man in connection with the murder of KoreyReed, who was shot and killed in the Lower 9th Ward.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, around 4:45 p.m., Christopher Michael Dixon was arrested in the 1500 block of Flood Street, a few blocks from where Reed was shot in the 1900 block of Charbonnet Street.

Dixon was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder.

A joint investigation by the FBI and NOPD identified Dixon and a second man, 28-year-old Jeremiah Washington, as suspects in connection with Reed's murder.

Dixon was booked into Orleans Parish Prison.

Jeremiah Washington is currently at large and is being sought by authorities.
