NEWORLEANS - Around 11 a.m. on Friday, a missing 14-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl were found safe from harm by their father, Anthony Holmes.

The New Orleans police had asked for the public's help in finding Dangelo Powell and Flora Holmes, who were last seen at their home in the 13000 block of Intrepid Street in New Orleans East.

NOPD spokesman Officer Frank Robertson said Powell and Holmes fled home after a family disagreement. While Powell was reported as a runaway in May 2012, this was the first time Holmes had gone missing.

Until Friday, neither had been heard or seen since their disappearance.
