The Saints' troubles might not quite be over after all.

A report inthe Washington Post by Sally Jenkins and Rick Maese on drug use and culture in the NFL says the Saints could face hefty fines in relation to the Vicodin investigation.

In 2009, former director of security Geoffrey Santini, an ex-FBI agent, filed a civil complaint alleging that prescription pills had gone missing and were being abused at the Saints facility.

The case went to arbitration, pushing both sides into negotiating behind closed doors. The two sides eventually settled.

But according to the Washington Post article, the FBI continued looking into it.

In the evidence gathered by the FBI , video clips show assistant coach Joe Vitt unlocking a metal cabinet in the trainer's office, unaware that cameras had been placed in the office, the Washington Post reported.

The paper says federal authorities are looking into levying a hefty fine against the Saints for violating laws in regard to how the team stored, controlled and handed out prescription drugs.
