HARVEY, La. -- Authorities are investigating a Monday morning bank robbery on the West Bank.

Around 9 a.m., two suspects robbed the Chase bank in the 2300 block of Manhattan Boulevard, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.

One of the suspects held a handgun and demanded money from the teller. Deputies say the second suspect acted as a lookout. They then fled in a stolen getaway vehicle, which was later recovered by deputies.

The first suspect is described a black man, 5'10' to 6'1'' and 170 to 180 pounds.

The second suspect is described as a black man, 5'8' to 5'10' and 160 to 170 pounds.
