After months of unknowns, Ryan Anderson's future finally is known.

The Pelicans forward will have surgery April 8 to correct a herniated cervical disc that happened in a January 3 collision with Boston's Gerald Wallace.

According to a news release put out by the team, surgery gives him the 'best opportunity to have a full recovery.'

In 22 games this season before the injury, Anderson averaged 19.8 points and 6.5 rebounds. His 67 made 3-pointers are still second-most on the team this season behind Eric Gordon's 101 and one more than Anthony Morrow.
