LSU outfielder Raph Rhymes added to his big season Monday when he was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week after helping the No. 2 Tigers to a 3-1 record this past week.

Rhymes batted .455, coming through with a double and two homers to go with six RBI in four games.

His home run in Thursday night's 7-1 win over Ole Miss was an inside the park variety, the third inside-the-park home run since the Tigers moved into the New Alex Box Stadium.

Rhymes is batting .349 with 14 doubles, four home runs and one triple this season. The 2012 SEC Player of the Year also has 42 RBI and 49 runs scored this season.
