NEW ORLEANS, La. -- When day 7 of the federal corruption trial of former mayor Ray Nagin opens at 9 a.m. Thursday, the jury will hear more from the defense's case.

For six days, the jury heard compelling and very damaging evidence from more than 2-dozen prosecution witnesses.

Joining the Eyewitness Morning News from Federal Court to review the federal attorney's final, and perhaps most damaging, witness testimony are WWL-TV Investigator David Hammer, and New Orleans Advocate reporter Gordon Russell.
