LACOMBE, La. -- A driver crashed into a Lacombe business Sunday afternoon after losing control of the vehicle, according to the St. Tammany Fire Department.

The accident happened on Hwy. 434.

St. Tammany Fire Department Chief Patrick Sicard said the driver lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and through a ditch. The vehicle then uprooted a small tree and crashed through a 6-foot wooden fence before hitting the back side of the business.

The driver, who wasn't identified, was unharmed. It's not clear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Firefighters had to shut off the utilities because of a ruptured gas line.

Officials haven't said whether the driver will face charges.
