A Kenner Police officer posing as a juvenile female in an online chat room caught a man from outside of Lafayette for soliciting sex.

Jesse Lemoine, 19, Duson, La., was arrested with one count of computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes and four counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.

Lemoine, using the screen name “boiisexi,” contacted the Kenner police officer.  “From the onset, Lemoine knew he was chatting with a juvenile female. During the course of the chat, Lemoine solicited to have sex with the juvenile female. Lemoine then invited the juvenile female to view his webcam,” Kenner Police said in a statement.

The investigation began last September when the Kenner officer entered the chat room, posing as a juvenile female from Kenner.  Yesterday, Kenner Detectives, Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and investigators from the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office arrested Lemoine at his home.

Lemoine also sent images of himself masturbating via webcam. 

It was also discovered that Lemoine was also wanted by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office for computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes.

If convicted, Lemoine will be required to register as a sex offender and faces a maximum of 10 years.  With multiple charges, however the sentence could be up to 25 years.
