Firefighters battle 2-alarm blaze in the St. Claude neighborhood

New Orleans firefighters were on the scene of a two-alarm fire early Monday morning in the St. Claude neighborhood.
The blaze broke out around 3 a.m. at the corner of Marais and Port Streets.
The fire quickly shot up to two alarms inside a double home.
There were not reports of any injuries.
It was not immediately known if there was anyone living in either side of the home at the time of the fire.
