The New Orleans Police Department is searching for two men wanted for first-degree murder.

According to the NOPD, Andre Hankton, 30, and Terry Hankton, 31, are wanted for a shooting that occurred May 13 in the 3400 block of South Claiborne Avenue.

After receiving a call, Second District officers found a victim lying on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds to the body.  The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say the pair chased the victim in a car, and when the victim exited his car to run on foot, he was struck by the Hankton’s car and then they shot him to death.

Both suspects were arrested and indicted, but they failed to appear in court, police said.
