New Orleans Police are investigating a shooting death of a 41-year-old man in the St. Roch area.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Derbigny and Spain Streets.

Police say they found the victim, who had been shot in the torso, inside a vehicle. He died on the scene.
