New Orleans Police are investigating a shooting death of an unidentified man in the 3300 block of Clouet Street.

This makes it the fourth murder in a particularly violent weekend. Two occurred Friday evening less than 30 minutes and three miles apart in the Seventh Ward. The third happened early Sunday morning in the St. Roch area.

Officers responded to a call of a shooting at about 10:20 a.m., according to investigators.  There they found a man in the street suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. He was pronounced dead on the scene, investigators said.

Investigators are gathering evidence and information to determine the suspect as well as the motive.
