NOPD officers said they responded to a shooting call in the 8700 block of Belfast Street, where they found a 19-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

The incident occurred Sunday night at around 7 p.m. So far they have no motives or suspects.

The murder caps off a bloody weekend for the city, which saw five murders in the city during the weekend. Two occurred Friday evening less than 30 minutes and three miles apart in the Seventh Ward. The third happened early Sunday morning in the St. Roch area. The fourth happened on Clouet Street at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Crimestoppers is offering up to a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible.
