Fire burns a Terrytown apartment building

A two-alarm fire at an apartment building sent flames and smoke billowing into the sky Friday.

An apartment catches fire in Terrytown.
Around 2:50 p.m., multiple fire units responded to the fire just south of Oakwood Shopping Center.
The Terrytown Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire, which includes the Harvey, Marrero-Harvey and Davy Crockett volunteer units, said Dep. Chief Robert Masson.
There have been no reports of injuries.
No cause has been reported.
