Gallo gives grant to UNO for wine education

NEW ORLEANS -- The University of New Orleans' Lester E. Kabacoff School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration has been awarded a $10,000 grant from The Gallo Family to support and enhance its wine education program.
The Kabacoff School will offer a new course in California wine in the upcoming fall semester. Officials say 12 of the school's students will travel to the Napa and Sonoma wine regions August 14-21 to learn about viticulture and enology.
