Dominic Robinson has been found guilty of first-degree murder.  Robinson was on trial for the murder of Samantha Jaume.

During sentencing, St. Tammany District Attorney Walter Reed said he will seek the death penalty.  A jury will decide Robinson’s fate.

In July of 2001, prosecutors contend that Robinson followed Jaume home from a Wal-Mart store near Covington and shot her after she refused to give him her car keys. Prosecutors said Robinson intended to sell the vehicle for money to buy drugs.
