One person is in the hospital after an overnight shooting in New Orleans East.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Morrisson Road near Newcastle, when police say they found an unidentified victim in front of a business lying with gunshot wounds. There is no word on the victim’s condition along with any motive or suspect.
