One man is dead and another shot in a double shooting near Carrollton Avenue.

Residents reported that they heard gunshots around 11:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of Cambaronne Street. Police arrived on the scene shortly thereafter.

A man was found lying on the sidewalk and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Another man, who is 24 years old, was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
