Man murdered in Kenner

A man was shot and killed in a parking lot of an apartment complex in Kenner, said Kenner Police spokeman Detective Shaun Watson.
Around 6:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call in the 1700 block of Newport Place, finding a male victim with a single gunshot wound to the head, police said. Next to the victim, who has not been identified, a wallet that contained a Brazilian ID card was found.
Police said there were no witnessed when they arrived, but believe that robbery is the motive.
