The City of New Orleans will begin its internet-based tax sale Monday morning.

Bidding in the sale will last from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

To view the properties and register for the sale to bid, you can go http://www.neworleanstaxsale.com.

Winners are determined at the close of the sale and all payments must be received by this Friday.

This is the second year the city has used the Internet to host the auction of property eligible for sale.
