A replica tall ship caught in the path of Hurricane Sandy has sunk off the coast of North Carolina. The U.S. Coast Guard was able to rescue 14 of the crew members aboard the HMS Bounty, but two people are still missing.

The Coast Guard says the two missing crew members are wearing survival suit designed to keep them afloat and protected for up to 15 hours.

The replica HMS Bounty has been featured in several movies, including "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest." The tall ship left Connecticut last week for St. Petersburg, Florida.
