NEW ORLEANS -- The U.S. Coast Guard is actively searching the Gulf of Mexico for a missing crewman from an offshore supply ship.
The man was reported missing from the supply ship Dustin Danos on Saturday, about 60 miles southwest of Port Fourchon.
The Coast Guard has been searching for the man using helicopters, planes and a ship, with assistance from the Dustin Danos and a commercial helicopter crew.
Crews will search by air until sunset, and then resume the search at first light.
The Coast Guard cutter "Pelican" will continue to search through the night.
