NEW ORLEANS -- After an unprecedentedly cold winter season and more than a dozen hard freezes in the metro area, homeowners are ready to bring their gardens back to life.
But though their first instinct may be to toss out their weakened plants and start anew, that may not be what's best for their yards.
As Kenny Rabalais, TPG - The Plant Gallery's founder, shows us in this week's How It's Done, you don't have to give up on a plant just because it looks like it's on its last legs. He walks us through how to spot whether a plant is actually dead, how to get your garden back to the lush level of life that you want and how to prepare your soil for the spring season.
Stay tuned next week for the second part of our series with TPG when Kenny will walk you through on how to plan and design the garden that you've always wanted.
