Terrebonne Parish has had it's share of hurricanes and residents there know the kind of damage a storm can deliver.

To be prepared this year, all residents are encouraged to stay in contact with parish officials for alerts.

Terrebonne Parish Emergency Preparedness Director Earl Eues told us important information that we need to be able to prepare for this hurricane season.

If you are a special needs resident in Terrebonne Parish, you should pre-register for assistance through the Council on Aging by calling 985-868-8411.

For questions, residents should call the Emergency Operations Office at 985-873-6357

During any emergency, residents are urged to call the toll-free community hotline for the latest updates at 1-888-356-4737.
