NEW ORLEANS - A recent study conducted by the Institute of Women and Ethnic Studies on the mental health issues of New Orleans youth shows an alarming trend.
Unless solutions are found to reverse these trends, the social fabric of the city will continue to deteriorate.
To address these issues and bring awareness of the problem to the community, a conference will held next week at Dillard University.
The executive director of the institute, Rheneisha Robertson, and the program coordinator for the Collective for Health Communities, Danielle Wright, were in the studio to discuss the results of the study and to tell us more about the conference.
"The root of it all: The state of mental health of New Orleans youth" conference is November 20.
