NEW ORLEANS – The displaced New Orleans Saints season ticket holders are getting organized and have filed their formal complaints with the team.
The so-called “Missing 1,200" gathered outside the Superdome in their Sunday best Tuesday evening. They lost their season tickets when the Saints decided to move the press box to their section in order to build new suites.
The fans want the team to publicly recognize them for their contribution to the gameday experience. They want a guarantee they will have a seat in the Superdome next season, regardless of how many season tickets are not renewed.
They want the Superdome neighborhoods to be kept together. And they want to be notified in writing on which seats are displaced, and the process for relocation.
According to the Saints, the top rows of sections 639, 640 and 641 are impacted, but could not say how many rows.
We asked the team to clarify, especially after ticket holders in other sections claimed they were also losing their seats, but we have not yet heard back.
