Most areas are getting a break from the rain, but you'll want to keep umbrellas handy this evening. A few more showers and thunderstorms could cross our region as a disturbance graudally moves away from us tonight. Showers and a few downpours will be possible. Rain chances will hang near 40% through 10pm. Overnight rain chances will drop to about 20%, as the disturbance lifts away from us.
Sunday and Labor Day will be partly cloudy, hot and drier. We'll keep a 30% chance for a few spotty showers or thunderstorms in the afternoons. Highs will return to near 92° with heat index values 95-105°. Our atmosphere will still be very moist, so a heavy downpour will be possible.
