NEW ORLEANS -- Surveillance video caught two burglars in the act of stealing a loaded handgun from a pickup truck on st. roch avenue.
It happened Sunday evening in the 2200 block of St. Roch.
The video shows two men opening the unlocked door of a parked Chevy pickup. One stands lookout while the other rummages through the truck for stuff to steal.
The owner of the truck was nearby mowing his lawn when a neighbor alerted him.
When he rushed to the pickup, he discovered a loaded handgun missing.
