PONCHATOULA, La. - More than a thousand people turned out Monday night to show support for little Tripp Roth.

Family, friends and others converged on Pontchatoula Memorial Park dressed in red and holding candles.

Tripp suffers from a rare skin disease and needs morphine to hold back the constant pain.

Tripp's mother remained by his side but sent word of her appreciation for the outpouring of support.
