METAIRIE, La. - It's history in the making for the Rummel Raiders - the high school football champs have their state championship trophy.
Until Saturday night, neither Jay Roth nor his school had a state football championship.
They won 35-14 over the Barb Bucs.
Rummel held a championship trophy presentation at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
