NEW ORLEANS -- Freret Street has blossomed with activity in recent years, as businesses have moved in to create a new corridor of niche restaurants serving tasty food daily.

One of the fixtures in the Freret Street revival has been Company Burger, which prides itself on using fresh ingredients made in-house to grill up some of the best burgers in the city.

The burgers are so good, in fact, that voters named it Best Burger in last year's Best of New Orleans Awards. (Note -- You can vote on this year's Best of New Orleans Award here!)

The recipe is simple -- just two 3.5 ounce patties with American cheese, onions and pickles. But as Chef Adam Biderman shows us in this week's How It's Done, it's what goes into making those ingredients that sets Company Burger apart.
