NEW ORLEANS -- The sixth annual New Orleans Entrepreneur Week kicks off in March, and this year organizers want to get more people in the community involved.

They announced the creation of a website, http://www.noew.org, on Thursday.

On the site, New Orleanians can sign up to take part in free seminars during entrepreneur week.

There are 1,500 first-come, first-serve spots that will provide the people of New Orleans with free education to start their businesses.

David Darragh, chairman of the Idea Village, said strong local engagement is what it will take for New Orleans to continue to be a world class city for entrepreneurship.

“Join us, come on board, participate in any way that you can with your time, your treasure,” said Idea Village Chairman David Darragh. “We'll certainly welcome all of it.”

The goal is to draw 5,000 innovators to this year’s events. They run from March 22 trough March 28.
