Sunday morning the Krewe of Zulu welcomed its queen as she arrived at the Armstrong airport.
Monica Givens is a manager with the Orleans Parish school system. She also helps with Zulu's popular Toys for Tots program.
Givens and her subjects celebrated at the Zulu King and Queen Party at the Hyatt.
