Animal rescue groups from across the area came together to find new homes for hundreds of animals.
The SPCA hosted the mega match-a-thon at Mardi Gras Boulevard on the West Bank.
People who adopted animals also took home goodie bags and a signed and numbered print by local artist Aidi Kansas.
Later this month, on April 22, the SPCA is hosting its Bark in the Park event at Zephyr Field, where you can bring your dogs to watch the baseball game.
